Hi! I am Kim. I love animals, especially Norman the calf and my two dogs, Skipper and Haddie. I love to fish, hike and camp. I also love DIY projects. I am single with no children, however, right now I have a friend and her two sons living with me as they transition back to the Twin Cities. I am getting a taste for” real” family life. I have two nieces who visit their Aunt Kim every summer. Cortney starts college this fall and Kenzie will be a 6th grader.
I have served as Director of Children’s Ministry at RLC for more than 20 years and have served in ministry for more than 30 years. Many years ago I was in college and planning to go into medicine. However, I felt God calling me in a different direction to work with children, youth and families in the church. Over the years my focus has narrowed to children and their families. I love the honest and innocent faith of children. Their faith is simple and heart felt – God loves me and I love God. AMEN! They don’t complicate their relationship with God through his Son Jesus with all the baggage and over-analyzing we do as adults. My passion in ministry is to equip parents and nurture children in their faith walk.
