Laurel Hofeldt

RLC has been my church home since 1991. Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, I still prefer wearing red and white over maroon and gold (shhh). My mother was a dietician at the UW Hospital and my father was a professor of medical microbiology. I am the youngest of three sisters, a.k.a. “the baby.” After graduating from UW Madison with a BBA in real estate and finance, I worked in commercial property management in California’s Silicon Valley for four years while my husband, Dave, studied for his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. In 1990 with our goal of moving closer to home, his job search brought us to the Twin Cities. We are blessed with three wonderful daughters, Michelle (20), Nicole (18) and Theresa (14). We joined Roseville Lutheran in 1991 and have found lasting friendships, opportunities to serve, and support for all aspects of our life and faith.

It has been my privilege to be on staff since 1997. Originally working in Children’s Ministry, I loved being a part of Cornerstone, Son-sation, musicals, Christmas programs and, my personal favorite, any and all service projects for elementary school children. I can still be found sleeping in a cardboard box one night each summer for the Kids In Mission homeless overnight. In 2005 I transitioned into the Office Manager position. Now a bit more behind the scenes, you might know me as the one who sends you a bunch of e-mails, or as the voice on the answering machine. During this year of Connect, I hope you will stop in to the office to see me in person! I pray for guidance and blessing as we discover the incredible plans God has in store for Roseville Lutheran Church, and I ask for your continued prayers and support as well.
