Hi there! Megan Moroff here, Director of Senior High Ministries at Roseville Lutheran.
When I’m not hanging out at our wonderful church, I love to go camping, travel, and get in trouble with the best roommates I’ve ever had. Our wonderful house in Shoreview is often filled with friends, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Now all we need is a dog for me to go running with, which brings me to my new hobby: On June 5th, I completed my first MARATHON. Running has never been my forte, but after my Granny was diagnosed with Leukemia, I joined Team in Training and spent 4 months running and raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I’m proud to report that I completed my marathon (woo hoo!) and raised $1,600 along the way! Over half of my funds came from members of Roseville Lutheran, and words can’t describe how touched and thankful I am to be part of such a supportive church community – Glory to God. I still run for TNT, and if you’d like to follow my adventures online, you can check out my blog at http://pages.teamintraining.org/mn/pfchangs12/mmoroff
Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, I grew up playing hockey, singing in choir, and spending a fair amount of time at my home church, First Lutheran. The experiences I had at FLC (Confirmation, High School Youth Group, Retreats, Mission Trips, going to Camp Hiawatha, Vermilion and Castaway, etc.) made me the woman that I am today. I feel called by God to be part of similar experiences for high school students and am so thankful to be fulfilling my call at Roseville Lutheran. Director of Senior High Ministries is my dream job, and I’d like to thank the families at RLC for allowing me to walk with their kids as they learn, grow and walk with God.
