- Four-hundred-ninety-four years ago, in 1517, Martin Luther nailed his “Ninety-Five Theses” to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenburg, Germany. It is recognized as the beginning of the Reformation, the beginning of the Lutheran Church and now regarded as the beginning of all Protestant churches. One of Luther’s primary issues was for the Church to recognize the priesthood of believers. This weekend we are emphasizing that we are the Body of Christ, collectively and individually. The Church is always in need of reform and we know that God’s Spirit is at work with in us and within the Church to help us become more like the “Body of Christ” that we already are.

- This is Recovery Weekend when all our worship will focus on overcoming addiction. The Union Gospel and Change Choir will be part of worship at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. This is a time to join together in acknowledging the difficulty of overcoming addictions and finding the power of God for strength in walking through recovery. Faith Partners is a faith-based ministry providing resources for prevention, support and recovery for those affected by addiction.
