Their relationship is like that of siblings; they frequently fight, they are often jealous of each other yet in the end, they mutually support each others development. In this two-part series David Bernlohr will trace the history of science through its roots in religious organizations to modern day conflicts and intersections that will focus on the major themes in Christianity and how science affects our understanding of our world.

A Conversation Between Craig Hanson and Etana Debel – Upward, Inward, Outward.
The foundation of their conversation begins in Isaiah 6. Etana is from Ethiopia, an east African Country, where the Christian church is growing fast! Churches in Ethiopia survived the persecution of the Communist era. Etana, a Ph.D. student at Luther Seminary, was one of these Christians – at age 13, he and others were dragged out of their church, the church was locked and he was taken to prison. He was in prison again for his Christian faith in his later teens. Led by Craig Hanson, RLC Lead Pastor and Etana Abdissa Debel, PhD Candidate
