Mission & Outreach Community Partnerships

RLC has made a strong commitment to aid members who pursue pastoral education programs in Seminary. This year RLC has dedicated $24,000 for tuition assistance to RLC members.

Christmas Concert Fund

The Christmas Concert Fund assists with the publicity and advertising to our local community. RLC invites our neighbors to the Christmas Concert and all the events over the Holidays.

RLC Good Samaritan Fund

The Mission and Outreach Team continue to support the RLC Good Samaritan Fund. The Good Samaritan fund allows the Pastors to assist members and others in our community who are in financial duress. The requests to RLC have dramatically increased during these tough financial times.

Bridging

Bridging has become a strong presence in Roseville with a mission to provide the economically disadvantaged in transition with furniture and household items free of charge. Bridging benefits those in desperate need including refugees, immigrants, victims of family violence, natural disasters and the homeless by giving them a sense of dignity and stability as they rebuild their lives.

Banyan Community

The Banyan Community is a Christian Community Development Corporation (CCDC) that builds relationships and improves the lives of youths and adults living in the East Phillips neighborhood of South Minneapolis. Their programs are divided into three strategies: Developing Youth, Strengthening Families and Creating Community. Many members of RLC have been involved with this group over the years.

Hospitality Center for Chinese

The Hospitality Center for Chinese serves the needs of the Chinese University students and their families that live, study and work in the Twin Cities. This group is located across from the University of Minnesota- St. Paul Campus. Every April, members from RLC prepare a meal for the Hospitality Center for Chinese and enjoy a night of fellowship.

Keystone Community Services

Keystone Community Services (KCS) is a community-based organization serving the Midway and North End areas of St. Paul, the north suburban communities of Ramsey County and beyond. Their programs include a preschool, after school programs for at-risk school age children and youth, IDT (an alternative education and support program for at-risk adolescents), three food shelves, case management for seniors, the disabled and at-risk families, a comprehensive Seniors Program that provides Meals on Wheels, peer counseling and programs for active seniors.

Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes meets every 2nd Monday to prepare and serve dinner at the Dorothy Day Center in downtown St. Paul. This hunger ministry has provided an opportunity for members to come together in faith and service to those in need of assistance.

How you can get involved?

The Mission and Outreach Team welcomes ideas and suggestions from every RLC members. We want the involvement of every member at RLC in at least 1 program sponsored by the Mission and Outreach Team.
