Blood Pressure Screenings
Give your heart a break!
We all want to stay in the best possible health and one way we can be on top of it is to get our blood pressure checked frequently! On the first Sunday of every month from 9:00-11:00AM in the Commons area, our Parish Nurse will be taking blood pressures for anyone interested. Wallet cards are available to keep track of your blood pressure – information you may want to share with your physician, so they can update their records.
Do you know where our AED is?
Several years ago we received an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for our church. Defibrillators play a vital role in saving lives when someone goes into cardiac arrest. It is an important link in the chain of survival along with early CPR and calling 911. Each of these plays a role in saving lives. So, take a moment when you are at church to note where our defibrillator is. Locate it on the wall behind the Welcome Desk. Then, when you are at a meeting here at church, pass it on to others so that all are aware that we have an AED and where it is in case of emergency.
