Faith @ Home
March 17,24, April 7,14,21,28, May 5,12
In this technologically expanding age, everyday there seems to be some new device or app that helps us to connect to friends, family, work, the news, and so on. However, does connecting mean building and/or having deep meaningful relationships?
In this year of Grow! we will be focusing on how we build and nurture those deep, meaningful relationships, especially with God. If we want our children to have a faith that influences the way they live their lives — and the critical life decisions they make — then in our homes we need to be modeling faith through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Throughout the year we will examine questions such as:
•Are you going to observe life God’s way, or are you going to ignore God’s way?
•You have been given the greatest gift you could ever be given: a son or daughter. What are you going to do with this gift?
•What do you think when you hear that your child’s faith will be a mirror image of your faith?
•What example will you set for your child?
•How are you going to live your life, and what will your children remember about you?
•What type of faith would you like your children and grandchildren to have?
The home and the familial relationship is the greatest influence on a child faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. We will teach you ways to practice faith-talk with your children, how to move from a God- in-your-head to God-in-your-heart faith and how to model that faith to your children and in all relationships.
