We, as believers, need to set aside part of our income for the Lord’s work, not because God needs our money, but rather because we need to return thanks for His blessings to us. RLC allocates 10% of all General Fund gifts for both local and global Mission and Outreach.

Envelopes

Call Kathy Ferry (Financial Assistant) to have envelopes mailed to you on a regular basis.

• Monthly – used when giving once a month
• Weekly – used when giving every week

Personal Check

If you give on a regular basis to the General Ministry or the building fund, please consider using an envelope that has a number assigned to your name. Designated gifts should be noted both on the outside of the offering envelope and on the memo line of your check.

Cash

Loose coins go to the ELCA for World Hunger. Loose bills go to the General Ministry. Use the RLC welcome pad envelopes or your personal RLC envelopes so we can give you credit for cash gifts.

Stock Transfer

There are two ways to give through stock transfers:

1. Have your stockbroker transfer your gift into RLC’s account at Northstar Bank. Please call Kermit Iverson – 651-487-4412.
2. Bring your stock certificate into RLC’s business office. Do not sign the back of the stock certificate. You will sign an irrevocable stock or bond power and a gifting letter. RLC will sell your stock gift immediately.

Non-Cash

Furniture, computers, materials, etc… notify the Office Manger, Laurel Hofeldt of any items you would like to donate. If RLC can’t use the item, we may be able to help you find another organization that would be able to make use of the item (Luther Seminary, Southeast Asian Ministries, etc…). Gifts need to be clean, in good working order and easy to move.
