A free concert by the Augsburg Centennial Singers, directed by Paul Christensen, featuring music from hymns and other sacred selections to barbershop.

Under the direction of Christensen, the 50-member Centennial Singers have been a part of the Minneapolis/St. Paul music scene for over 20 years.

The Singers were formed to commemorate the Augsburg College Gospel Quartet tradition at the Minneapolis college. From the late 1800s until the 1960s, gospel quartets traveled each summer appearing most often in churches affiliated with the Lutheran Free Church that supported the college.
