G.I.F.T. - Growing Together In Faith
Growing In Faith Together (G.I.F.T.) Sundays are days when parents and kids attend Cornerstone together and focus on a significant part of our faith as Lutheran Christians. We want to share in the promise that you, as parents, made at your child's Baptism, to . . . "place in their hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for their instruction in the Christian faith." Through G.I.F.T.
Sundays we will provide students and parents with ideas they can use at home to explore their faith and nurture their faith development. The staff of Roseville Lutheran Church wants to encourage and support you in your active role of assisting your child's growth in his/her relationship with Jesus Christ and hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity.
G.I.F.T. Sundays will be held on the fourth Sunday of the month (excluding December) in the Activity Center for Kindergarten through 5th Grade Cornerstone Kids and their parents. Mark your calendar for these faith nurturing opportunities. Each session will offer new insights into the topic and useful resources families can use at home for continued study and conversation.
The first G.I.F.T. Sunday will be September 27. Kindergarten-2nd Graders and 4th & 5th Graders and their parents will meet in the Activity Center for a presentation on "Parents, Kids and Money Matters" The 3rd Graders and their parents will meet in Heritage Hall for a presentation on the Bible.
If you are unable to attend a G.I.F.T. Sunday, materials from each session will be posted on the Roseville Lutheran website.
