Fill the Halls: A Report from Student Ministries

This year on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm the halls are fuller than ever before! This is because the high school youth group, Flock, has joined the 7-9th confirmation program on Wednesday nights.

Why?

Because the energy is soooo great on Wednesdays that it was a natural fit. Not only that, but from 6:15-6:45 every Wednesday night we are serving pizza, chips, and drinks to the kids before confirmation.

Why again you ask?

So we can continue to connect better with our youth. In this year of connect, we hope to continue to grow and build closer to each other and God more than ever before, and confirmation has been a huge part of that!

I am the Confirmation Director here at RLC. I love working with youth because for many, this is where faith formation begins. I especially love seeing the subtle and extravagant changes that God makes in the hearts of youth when they hear the story of Jesus Christ. Because of this, I see working with the youth and families of RLC as a true privilege.
