What is The Faith 5?

Club fifty6

Club fifty6 is our monthly community event (Typically 5:30-8:30 PM) C56 is an event where Luther League-rs can have a super fun time with friends new and old! We have had the opportunity to do some pretty fun stuff ranging from playing a rousing game of cricket (yes cricket!), caroling and ice-skating in rice park, to going to a Minnesota Wild game. Come join in on the fellowship!

In March Club Fifty6 will have an overnight retreat to Camp Hiawatha!!  This very fun Elementary Re-Juve will be from Friday, March 16th-Saturday 17th.  We will have worship, games, sauna.. and so much more.  If you have never been to camp or just want to get your fix before our summer trip, please RSVP to Tyler ASAP!

First Communion

First Communion (5th Graders) Takes place on Good Friday of Holy Week. All students that are in 5th grade are invited to join in the First Communion work-shop with their families for instruction, discussion, and fellowship surrounding the importance of the sacrament of the Eucharist (and even bake your own bread!). Family and baptismal sponsors are invited to share in a traditional Seder meal before the evenings worship.

Children of any age may receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at Roseville Lutheran Church after instruction from our pastors.

Camp Hiawatha

Camp Hiawatha is our traditional week-long residential bible camp is typically the last week of June each summer and is for 5-9th Grade students. Camp Hiawatha is apart of Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry (VLM) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Rosveille Lutheran Church has been a VLM member congregation since 2010.

Campserve

Campserve is a week long service day camp ministry of Youthworks! In the summer of 2011, Luther League-rs had the opportunity to got to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights where they played games, had bible study, grew as a community, and most of all served the community! We volunteered at a retirement community, picked up rubbish at a city park, trimmed hedges and weeds from the church, made hot meals for some families in need, and even ran a food drive for the city of St. Paul (we collected 700 pounds of food!).
