R.A.W.
R.A.W. is held Sunday mornings during the 10:10 education hour in the Great Hall. R.A.W is Roseville Lutheran Church’s 7th & 8th grade education hour held every Sunday. R.A.W stands for Rebelling Against World, meaning that as followers of Christ we are called to stand out (or “Rebel” as we like to put it
as leaders, not followers, in our schools, communities, and church. We gather together around the re:form DVD series and ask faiths big questions!

Friday Night Live
Friday Night Live (FNL) is a monthly community event typically held from 7:00-10:00 p.m. The Bible lets us know that when we live with Christ, there are great celebrations in heaven. FNL is a party for 7th & 8th graders because they are loved by God. It’s a party where they can be with friends and adult mentors. Perhaps most importantly, FNL is designed to teach students who Jesus Christ really is and what He wants in our lives. There are great events planned for this year and we are excited for our youth to join in the fun! We would also welcome any parent who would like to volunteer at any event.

Youthworks! Mission Trip
RLC Middle Schoolers have the opportunity to head out on a regional service trip that changes lives in communities outside of the Twin Cities (Summer 2011 was Duluth,MN). This past summer, over 35,000 youth joined in Youth works trips! Each summer, churches bring participants to sites across the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Canada. YouthWorks is designed to create opportunities for junior and senior high school students to learn more about Jesus’ love through missions. As Lutherans, we are called to help our friends and neighbors – around the corner, across the country, and on the other side of the world. As the youth of RLC, we show how Lutherans are changing lives for the better – every day, in a million ways. Join in, and see how rewarding God’s work can be. God’s work. Our hands.
