The Roseville Lutheran Church Nursery is seeking volunteers to help read and play with the kids on Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. It’s a great opportunity for those who attend the 8:00 a.m. worship service or confirmation students needing volunteer hours. You can help for one hour, or all three. No previous childcare experience needed!
Sign-up online or contact Nursery Supervisor Tammy Heiple at or 651-238-0379.
Starts the weekend before Thanksgiving and runs until Christmas.
Our local food shelf, Keystone Community Services, needs donations and support over the holiday season. The Mission and Outreach Team is asking Roseville Lutheran friends and families to bring in these high needs items:
High protein items - canned meat, tuna, stews, and other protein items
Pantry basics - cooking oil, flour, sugar and baking items
We will also be accepting monetary donations during the Holiday Food Drive. Keystone Community Services can purchase $4 of food for every $1 of donations
The Mission and Outreach Team, with Cornerstone and the youth, are hosting The Big Wrap event on January 29 during the 10:10 hour in the RLC Activity Center. All RLC members are invited to wrap towel and utensil bundles for Bridging. RLC will then send these gifts to the Bridging warehouse in Roseville for clients who are shopping for furniture and other household items.
We will be collecting donation items during January for the Big Wrap. Please place these items in the blue bins in Luther Commons:
Towels - wash cloth, hand towels and bath towels
Kitchen items - Can openers, spatulas and mixing spoons
RLC will once again host homeless families this winter. Project Home will take place each night during February 2017. This important ministry provides homeless families with a warm, friendly and safe place to sleep at night. But it takes many volunteers of all ages to make this happen!
We need more than 100 volunteers split between two shifts, an evening from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and a night shift from 8:00 pm - 7:00 am.
RLC has an opportunity to host another “50 Dressers Build” on Sunday, January 29. It's a great opportunity for individuals and families to use their skills to assemble dressers to benefit area families that need home furnishings.
