Gaelynn Lea, 2016 winner of NPR's Tiny Desk Contest and Duluth native, will perform a holiday benefit concert at Roseville Lutheran Church on Sunday, Nov. 20!
Lea will be joined by the Glee Club from Wingspan Life, a nonprofit providing residential care to adults with developmental disabilities in Minnesota. Funds raised at this event will support the memorial garden at their Plato campus.
Lea's submission for the Tiny Desk Contest at NPR was victorious over more than 6,000 other entries. She pays homage to traditional fiddle music and standards while weaving in contemporary sounds using a looping pedal.
