1) The trip dates are:  Friday May 29 - Saturday June 13
Flight arrangements (United Airlines): 

May 29
(UA 1176) MSP - Chicago 10:15 am - 11:53 am
(OS 66) Chicago - Vienna 4:20 pm - 8:25 am +1  (Austrian Air)

June 9                           
( ) VIE - Heathrow 2:55pm - 4:15pm

(UA 929) Heathrow - Chicago 8:30 am - 11:20 am
(UA 1962) Chicago - MSP 2:05 pm - 3:31 pm

2) Arrive in Vienna where a bus will then take us to Martin, Slovakia (3+ hr drive)

3) Be in Martin from May 30 - June 8.  We most likely will work Mon - Fri 8 - 4pm, and Saturday morning with Slovak parents.

4) Monday June 8 -  leave Martin (most likely by bus) to spend one night in Bratislava.  Our 'farewell dinner' will be in Bratislava (it's cheaper than London!)

5) Tuesday June 9 - take a bus from Bratislava to the Vienna Airport to then fly to London

6) Wednesday - Friday June 10-12 'On your Own', however, I'm going to explore a couple of group tours outside of London or find how to get tickets to a West End Theatre District production.  Within London, there is the 'HopOn/HopOff' tour bus that is a great way to see the city highlights on your own timeline.  Again, London is 'on your own', but you can buddy up with other team mbrs!

7) Saturday, June 13 depart London, arrive home at MSP!

Typical trip costs includes:

1) Airfare,
2) ground transportation to/from Vienna / Heathrow Airports,
3) Hotel accommodations in Martin, Bratislava and London,
4) breakfasts, lunches, a couple of suppers in Martin,
5) Evacuation Insurance,
6) SPA evening,
7) Farewell Dinner,
8) London PASS. More detailed trip costs forthcoming.

Not Included: 

1) 3-4 Suppers in Martin (we then go to local restaurants),
2) Incidentals in Martin (e.g. local bus/train fare)
3) London meals,
4) Anything else in London area.

Roseville Lutheran and St Andrew's Lutheran, Mahtomedi MN are in a collaborative partnership to make Vision Slovakia a successful outreach ministry.  

Deadlines/Payments

• Last Date to sign up/register is Monday Feb. 17 with $250 downpayment (or $1750 due between Feb 1-17) 
• January 31st... $1500 payment due
• March 15..   $675 payment due
• April 13....  $675 payment due

You might be wondering what work will be done in Martin. "Be Flexible and willing the learn!" Typically the Builders Groups have done painting, cleaning, yardwork, some demolition work, and wall plastering. Of course, there are ALWAYS windows to paint/varnish! But the most important work we do is to build relationships and learn how God is working miracles in all our lives!
