Job Summary - Administrative Assistant
- Front office receptionist which includes greeting and welcoming guests
- Answering phone line and fielding calls
- Mail distribution and posting outgoing mail
- Oversight of the display of the daily schedule throughout church
- Working with volunteers with duties and responsibilities
- Open the front office in a timely manner
- Ensure that the receptionist area (including print and break rooms) is in a neat and orderly condition
- Answer all telephone calls in a professional, friendly and timely manner
- Assist all callers with information provided by the various ministries of the church
- Transfer calls to the requested staff person promptly.
- Encourage all staff to notify the receptionist of their whereabouts
- Greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Determines the reason for their visit and assists them with their needs
- Assist all visitors with information provided by the various ministries of the church.
- Print Worship bulletins and Update Announcements. Insert Update Announcements into Worship Bulletins
