Christian Nationalism: Review, Update, and Conversation
with Pastor Rolf Olson
In February of 2022, Pastor Rolf and Dr. Nancy Koester presented a well-received overview of Christian Nationalism. It is a political movement which uses Christian terms and symbols to achieve its goal of power. Behind it is a rewriting of American history, twisting our Founders into right-wing Fundamentalist Christians rather than the Deists they were. Because of the encouraging reception Olson and Koester received at Roseville Lutheran they then continued to make presentations-- over 25 so far. Because Christian Nationalism is a growing movement fraught with danger to both democracy and faith, Pastor Olson will give an update and lead us in conversation on how we can respond.
