The taskforce for ending life well and the RLC Endowment Committee are pleased to announce a series of educational opportunities this fall with more to come in early 2027.
On October 18th Lorene Roste will be discussing the topic of gathering important information. The title of this presentation is “Last Minute Instructions”. At the end of this presentation, you will get information on how to obtain a document to do this work or download this information from the RLC website. The information you gather will be very helpful to your children or the person who will manage your estate when you are no longer here.
On October 25th Pastor Kent and Pastor Rolf will present “Funeral Planning - Celebrating Your Life”. This session will give you guidance in how to plan for this important event and spare surviving loved ones the stress of doing that in the midst of their grief. You will leave this session with a framework for planning your own service as well as supporting information on Bible verses, music, and other details.
There will be two more adult educational opportunities early in 2027. They will be “Financial Planning and Legacy Giving” and “Difficult Family Conversations with Aging Adults”. Look for detailed announcements in future editions of The Messenger.
