RLC is forming a Green Team! What is that, you may ask?

A Green Team is a core group of people in a congregation who are committed to raising awareness about the urgent need to protect God’s Creation and to work for environmental sustainability and responsibility. Green Teams develop sustainability in church life by increasing energy efficiency and conservation, decreasing consumption and waste, and encouraging the use of clean, safe, renewable energy.

The Church Council has identified a need to create a committee to promote and help provide thoughtful leadership. We are looking for at least five (5) people to act in this capacity. They will, of course, engage the entire RLC Congregation to join in.
