We send you each our love and are so happy to report that all of us are well and are so happy to be here! Since we can not start wall construction until next week, we started our work time two days ago and have been repairing the windows in the new chemistry and physics labs. It is a huge room with painted white walls, ceilings and a cement floor. The floors will soon be finished with vinyl covering. At each end of the rooms are offices for the instructors and supply rooms.

There are at least 20 double wide windows with two sets of windows-(inside and outside) which we are repairing. The window frames are in sad condition and need replacement. However it is too costly to have them replaced at this time so it is our job to glass putty, fill with wood filler prior to painting the window frames and then of course to scrape and wash the windows! It is indeed a tedious job but we are all happy to help out in this way!

Today, Friday, was a very special day. We started the day with three Christian services at the Bible school attended by three different age groups of students from the elementary school and the high school. Joe Lunders was asked to give the sermon for each group. He introduced each of our group and gave each of us an opportunity to describe a bit about ourselves and volunteer interests. He then went on to speak about faith, hope and love among all people in the Christian world and about following Jesus’s command to love one another.

After the services, we had the opportunity to visit with many of the students in addition to the leaders of the Center for Christian Education. We had a wonderful time discussing the terrific memories of time spent in years past assisting with the building process and seeing first hand the happiness of the many students!

Tonight we are all happy and bask in the memory of a wonderful day. I forgot to tell you that the weather here today was with glorious sunshine with the temperatures in the 60’s! The grass is green, the trees in full bloom along with most spring flowers! We all attended dinner at the home of Tomas and Slavka. Tomas is the religious coordinator at the CCE. We all had a wonderful time!
