Let the WORK Begin!

As is often the case on Builders Group trips, we don’t have much of an idea what work projects we’ll be working on.  Janka had told us we’d be doing ‘windows’, but we don’t have our usual ‘Window Lead’ with Vicky L only here in spirit.  KJ found that Erik has a ‘coordinators mind’, so she delegated to Erik a few logistics of ‘doing windows’. After TWO student worship services, all 11 of us worked on windows today (from the Bible School building).  We divided up into ‘stations’ whereby some sanded, some glazed, some taped, and some painted. We set up our stations on the yard outside the Bible School, and it was a beautiful day for some sun, and also for many of our Slovak friends to visit with us.  There are ONLY 88 windows to do on this trip compared with the 108 from the Elementary School building 4 yrs ago, and 244 windows in the Dormitory (in 2004). Needless to say, having a ‘campus’ with a number of different buildings there are A LOT of windows.  We hope the rain stays away till late afternoon tomorrow so we can finish the windows and move on to the next project…. Building a set for the Anniversary Celebration (Oh my!!).
