'LUCKY 13' Builders Group

The Vision Slovakia Builders Group team will be in Martin, Slovakia on May 18th – May 30th to help 'spruce up' the campus before CCE's 20th Anniversary and 1st High School Graduation on June 22-24.  We will be landscaping, repairing and painting windows, fence painting, and general cleanup, all so that the campus will be bright and shiny for the BIG CELEBRATION.  This special celebration weekend in June is an historic event in the life of the Center for Christian Education (CCE) in Martin. The 150+ year old dream of a SUCCESSFUL Lutheran school in Martin has come to another milestone with the first high school graduation with 38 students.  Through the nurtured relationships between the school staff and students and many American churches, like Roseville Lutheran and St Andrew's Lutheran in Mahtomedi, MN, the Slovak graduating class is looking to actively use their civil rights to ignite change and hope for a better Slovakia and a better world.  Look for the posters of the CCE and the 38 graduates in the hallway between the Commons and the Social Hall.
