The day has finally arrived for the 15 called servants of the MN Builders Group to depart to Martin, Slovakia. We’ve all JAMMED our luggage with a few extra items as gifts for our Slovak friends, along with work gloves and shoes, rain gear, painters tape, dust masks, vinyl painting gloves, a few small tools, and all the other necessary items for a 2 week work excursion to Europe. Those of us returning to Martin are excited for the opportunity to see and hug our Slovak friends again, but we are also mindful of making new friends in the community of the Center for Christian Education (CCE) and in Martin.

It was a scramble to get 15 people and ALL their luggage on the RLC bus, driven by Bob Bergstrom, and in Jack Miller’s ‘luggage truck’ to head to the airport at noon from the RLC north lot. (Thanks Bob and Jack.) There was a bit of last minute re-arranging of items between suitcases to get in as much as possible. Those 50 lb. suitcases add up in a hurry!! But, we are thankful that God has granted each of us the strength of body to take on this mission . . . or is it an “adventure” . . . or BOTH!
