BUILDERS CONTINUE DESPITE MAN DOWN…..
Pastor Steve’s work post today was IN BED RESTING with his cold, but the Builders carried on in earnest. More of the same work projects… painting offices, varnishing soffits and glazing/painting windows, which now number over 100!! Tomorrow the soffits and office renovation should be done, include carpet laying!! The office staff will be thrilled to get back into their FRESH and CLEAN offices in less than a week.

A small delegation from the American Embassy from Bratislava stopped by the CCE today. Bohdan gave them a tour of the facility, telling them of how the partnership of Americans and Slovaks is working at the CCE. A few of the Builders Group were able to infuse their stories into the conversation as well.

Today’s highlight was hopping on the train to Turčianske Teplice after our work was done for the day … a short 15 minute train ride from Martin. Teplice means ‘warm place’. There is a Mineral Water Spa and WaterPark that we soaked in for a couple of hours. It was very refreshing. We are half done with our work days already. But we have worked over 225 person hours for the CCE already!!!

Please pray for Pastor Steve’s recovery from his cold to be a quick one, taking the rest and nourishment he needs to recovery before next Wednesday’s departure to Nice, France. Also, prayers of safe working and health for the rest of the team would be greatly appreciated. Your prayers are definitely felt!
