“Glory to God in the highest, 
peace on earth, good will to all, 
I bring you good news 
of great joy to everyone.”

With these words, the angels declared the first Christmas blessing – a blessing that was first heard by the shepherds tending their sheep that night in Bethlehem. A baby had been born and this baby was the incarnation of God’s love for us. A love so grand and deep that angels sang and shepherds dropped to their knees in awe of this magnificent birth. That same love has been born among us. May we rejoice and sing, give praise and pause in prayer for the good news that has been born. Our Christ. Our Emmanuel.
