But now thus says the Lord,

It has been an unprecedented time of concern and fear for all people, all nations, all communities.  It has also been unprecedented in the abundance of care exhibited within the community.

With Holy Week fast approaching, we will again, individually and/or collectively, remember the Passover with Jesus and the disciples.  In humility, we will hear Jesus say: “Love one another as I have loved you”. We will reflect upon Jesus giving his life on the cross for us.  And on the glorious Easter Day, we will celebrate Jesus' resurrection. 

Living in Hope, we hear God say through Isaiah I have called you by name, you are mine.” Living in Resurrection Hope, we follow Jesus’ example to love one another as Jesus loves us and in service to our neighbor.  Living in Resurrection Hope, we rejoice knowing that God promises to always be with us no matter what may come our way!

Prayer 

Gracious and Loving God, thank you for loving us so very much that you gave your Son to die for us and you claim us as your own.  Calm our fears when we are feeling overwhelmed and isolated and constantly remind us that you are always with us, no matter what! In Jesus name we pray,     Amen.
