Position: Church Administrator

Roseville Lutheran Church is seeking a full-time Church Business Administrator to manage all business and administrative ministry functions of Roseville Lutheran Church under the direction of the Senior Pastor. These areas include, but are not limited to finance, facilities, personal, and management of administrative and facility staff. This person serves as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee and Church Council. This person works in partnership with the Personnel/Mutual Ministry, Finance, and Property Committees.

Basic qualifications include:

1. Demonstrated commitment to Christ and the mission and ministry of the Church
2. Accounting Degree or accounting experience preferred
3. Church administration or other administration and management work experience
4. Financial skills and experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and budget preparation and oversight
5. Organizational skills
6. Communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal (problem solving and conflict resolution) skills
7. Proficiency in financial software (i.e. Shelby, Quickbooks, Microsoft programs including excellent Excel experience, and Google Drive/Docs.
8. Knowledge of relevant personnel and tax laws
9. Knowledge of property and equipment management
10. Self-starter, able to work independently
11. Personnel and supervisory skills and experience
12. Ability to delegate effectively

Position: Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician

Roseville Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our ministry staff.

15 hours per week, M-F, flexible schedule, with On-Call for evening and weekend emergencies.

$21-24 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements and responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Current boiler license is required ( Low Pressure )

  • Accredited Classes or 5 years of experience in service and repair to HVAC equipment and systems required

  • Operation and repair of AC and DC controls, motors, general knowledge of wiring breaker panels

  • Electrical

  • Plumbing

  • Carpentry and General Building Repairs

  • Able to work closely with staff and volunteers
