As the Communications Manager at RLC, I’m at your ser­vice! My main duties are producing weekly publications (Bulletins, Update, E-Blast, Baptism Certificates) and other printing, electronic, and design projects. For the past several years, I held a simi­lar position as Director of Communica­tions at Hennepin Avenue United Meth­odist Church in Minneapolis.

I was raised in rural eastern North Dakota, my father a Lutheran Pas­tor and mother a Kindergarten teach­er, and my sister and brother and their families still live in there. I moved here in 2006 and live with my husband, Rev. Dennis Sanders, and our cats in North Minneapolis. We have 3 nephews and one niece, and my mother-in-law Maria has recently moved to Robbinsdale to be near us in her retirement.

I graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo with a BA in Music Theory and Composition and did graduate work at the University of North Dakota in Choral Conducting. I’ve been a church musician for over 25 years and have choral works published by Augsburg Fortress and Pavane (Hal Leonard). I am the Music Director at Calvary Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis where I direct the choir and lead worship on piano and organ. In my spare time I enjoy studying small house plans and singing in the group InVocation (www.invocationsing­ers.org).
