I live in White Bear Lake with my cat, Sophie, resident backyard ducks, Bob and Blanche, and Earl the Squirrel. My daughter Anne lives in Minneapolis, and son Eric lives in St. Paul.

I am from the Twin Cities, but have spent the past 10 years in La Crosse, WI, serving as my mother’s primary caregiver. I am an artist, musician, and writer in my spare time. It’s amazing what God will do in our lives. I never would have guessed He would lead me back to the Twin Cities and to RLC, but His plans are always better than mine! And I think He likes to show His sense of humor!

My favorite scripture at the moment is Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about these things.” It keeps me focused on all the good things God is doing when life decides to hand me lemons!
