Between worship services on Sunday, June 5, we will celebrate and give thanks for the ministry of Julie Hanson, Director of Children's Ministry at RLC. You are welcome to bring a card or gift to wish her Godspeed in her retirement, and thank her for her time among us at Roseville Lutheran Church.

Dear Members and Friends of Roseville Lutheran Church,
Over the past seventeen years, Julie Hanson, Director of Children’s Ministry, has been a creative and spirit-filled presence within our congregation. She has walked beside many children and families as they have come forward for baptism, encouraged toddlers as they have made hesitant steps into our preschool Sunday School program, supported teenagers as they have come forward to affirm their baptisms, and celebrated them at other milestones as they have approached young adulthood.
Julie has announced that she is beginning her retirement this coming spring, with her last day as Director of Children’s Ministry being May, 31, 2022. We celebrate with her and her family and give thanks for her faithful service and commitment to the people who call Roseville Lutheran Church their home.
As she has reflected on her time spent with us Julie remarked,
“What I have most enjoyed about my position at RLC is getting to know the kids and their families, and also the amazing adult and youth leaders that have shared their time. The questions, excitement and participation in what we offer in various opportunities give me joy and hope. Also introducing families to opportunities to serve and sharing their gifts with others has been a highlight as well as connecting generations through Serve Sundays, intergenerational activities and our pen pal program.”
What is she looking forward to in her retirement?
“More time to be with four little people that call me Grandma.”
We will be celebrating Julie and her ministry with us on Sunday, June 5th between services, and after the 10:30 am worship service.
